Smelt are a natural fish snack and a popular alternative to conventional meat snacks. These small fish impress with their intense aroma and pleasantly crunchy texture, making them a favorite with many dogs. Their high content of omega-3 fatty acids and high-quality proteins can support your dog's skin, coat, and overall well-being. They also contain important minerals and essential fatty acids that can be a valuable addition to a balanced diet.
Smelt are suitable for all dogs without a specific fish allergy. Due to their manageable size and good digestibility, they are particularly suitable for smaller dogs, puppies, or dogs with sensitive stomachs. Even dogs with sensitive stomachs often tolerate these small fish very well.
For our Masterfeed smelt, we use only carefully selected fish, which are thoroughly cleaned and gently air-dried at 95°C. This process optimally preserves natural aromas and valuable nutrients. The fine bones become particularly tender and can be eaten without any problems. Our smelt are a 100% natural snack – naturally free of artificial additives and flavor enhancers.
Offer as a reward between daily meals. Please reduce the main meal accordingly.
Chews and treats should only be given under supervision. Please remove any sharp-edged pieces as a precaution.
