Basic structure of a BARF meal

A balanced BARF meal consists of an animal component (approx. 80%) and a plant component (approx. 20%) – supplemented by valuable natural additives.

🥩 Animal content (80%)

50% muscle meat
For example: chicken, beef, horse, lamb
➡️ Provides high-quality proteins, enzymes, and energy for strong muscles and vitality.

20% rumen and omasum
For example: beef rumen, omasum
➡️ Rich in enzymes and probiotic bacteria, it supports digestion and ensures a healthy intestinal environment.

15% offal
For example: heart, liver, lungs, stomachs
➡️ Particularly rich in nutrients – contains vitamins, minerals and enzymes that strengthen the immune system.

15% Raw meaty bones (RFB)
For example: sternum, necks, carcasses
➡️ Provide your dog with calcium, phosphorus and important trace elements – for strong bones, teeth and muscles.

Our BARF menus already combine these animal components in a balanced composition – ideal as a basis for daily feeding.

🥕 Plant-based content (20%)

Some of our menus already contain vitamin-rich vegetables and fruit – finely ground and optimally digestible, even for small or sensitive dogs.
