Beef gullet meat (BARF, minced)
Product description
- Monoprotein beef
- High fat content for extra energy
- Natural source of calcium to support bones and joints
- Finely minced and easy to portion
Our finely minced beef maw consists of 100% cartilage-containing beef meat (larynx, trachea and esophagus) and provides a particularly nutrient-rich supplement for raw feeding. The natural cartilage content provides your dog with important building blocks for healthy joints and connective tissue and strengthens the bones - without any artificial additives.
Thanks to its high fat content, this single feed is an excellent source of energy, ideal for supporting muscle building and for active dogs and growing young dogs. At the same time, the cartilage-rich meat ensures a balanced supply of nutrients that strengthens your dog's muscles and joints
The monoprotein composition from beef makes the product particularly well tolerated by nutritionally sensitive dogs, allergy sufferers or dogs with a sensitive gastrointestinal tract. The finely ground consistency makes portioning easier and ensures optimal digestibility - perfect for small dogs or BARF newbies.
Feeding recommendation
2-3% of body weight per day (puppies 6-8%, young dogs/lactating bitches 5-7%).
When putting together the BARF menu, we recommend taking into account a meat content (including offal) of around 80% and a fruit and/or vegetable content of around 20%.
The animal portion should consist of 50% muscle meat, 20% tripe and omasum, 15% offal and 15% raw meaty bones (RFK).
The plant content is usually 75% vegetables and 25% fruit.
Offal plays an important role in barfing as it is rich in important nutrients. The heart, liver, kidneys, lungs and spleen in particular are among the most important offal.
Fruit and vegetables provide important vital substances and should always be fed finely pureed.
We recommend dividing the food ration into at least two portions daily and supplementing it with essential additives such as salmon oil.
Our BARF products should always be stored in the freezer at -18 °C. Before feeding, we recommend letting the product thaw in the refrigerator without packaging for about 12 hours. The meat should then be served at room temperature.
Please only feed under supervision and always provide enough fresh drinking water.
