Our ground green beef tripe is made from 100% beef and is a natural protein source for your dog. The enzymes, minerals, and probiotic bacteria it contains support the intestinal flora and contribute to better digestion.
Besides high-quality protein, green tripe provides valuable nutrients that further promote digestion. As a single feedstuff, it offers an ideal basis for supplementing raw feeding and for a balanced diet.
Finely ground beef tripe is particularly suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs, those with dietary sensitivities, or allergy sufferers. Its easily portionable consistency ensures high digestibility – ideal also for small dogs, senior dogs, or those new to BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food).
2–3% of body weight per day (puppies 6–8%, young dogs/lactating bitches 5–7%).
When putting together the BARF menu, we recommend taking into account a meat content (including offal) of about 80% and a fruit and/or vegetable content of around 20%.
The animal-based portion should consist of 50% muscle meat, 20% rumen and omasum, 15% offal and 15% raw meaty bones (RFB).
The plant-based portion typically consists of 75% vegetables and 25% fruit.
Offal plays a significant role in raw feeding (BARF) because it is rich in essential nutrients. Heart, liver, kidney, lungs, and spleen are among the most important offal.
Fruits and vegetables provide important nutrients and should always be finely pureed before being fed.
We recommend dividing the daily food ration into at least two portions and supplementing it with essential additives such as salmon oil.
Our BARF products should always be stored in the freezer at -18°C. Before feeding, we recommend thawing the product for approximately 12 hours in the refrigerator without its packaging. The meat should then be served at room temperature.
Please feed only under supervision and always provide plenty of fresh drinking water.
