Brocken Ostrich

Our ostrich chunks are small meat snacks, about 1 cm in size, with a unique texture that is slightly crispy on the outside and pleasantly soft on the inside. This requires careful production, in which the meat mixture is formed into small balls, then spread out on sieves and dried very gently. This process optimally preserves the natural meat aromas, important nutrients, and original flavor.

The recipe contains 90% fresh ostrich meat, primarily high-quality muscle meat, supplemented with select offal such as liver and lungs. Ostrich is one of the less commonly used meats in dog food and is therefore often used for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergies. Due to its hypoallergenic properties, ostrich meat is particularly well-suited for elimination diets and provides high-quality protein and natural nutrients. Furthermore, ostrich is characterized by its aromatic flavor and relatively low fat content.

A small amount of potato contributes to the unique texture of the kibble, ensuring a pleasant chew. This loose, slightly crumbly texture means the kibble hardly crumbles, is easy to chew, and is ideal as a small reward during the day or during training. The recipe is further enhanced with nutrient-rich offal, which provides additional natural minerals and protein.

For our meatballs, we use fresh meat daily from certified German meat farms. High-quality raw materials and a high proportion of fresh meat form the basis of our recipes.
